Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum was at Monarchs Restaurant in Pella. Santorum spoke about about his values and what he could do for America as President of the United States. He said that eliminating the corporate tax for manufacturers was a key part of his economic plans, to help bring back skilled manufacturing jobs. While in Pella Santorum learned that a conservative evangelical organization based in Pleasant Hill; The Family Leader’s Board of Directors had decided to remain neutral in the upcoming caucuses. However TFL’s CEO, Bob Vander Plaats and The Iowa Family Policy Center’s President Chuck Hurley would personally endorse Santorum.
