Three straight wins to close out the pre-Christmas schedule serve as a good indicator of an improvement in play for the Twin Cedars boys basketball team.

If letter grades were handed out for basketball as they are in academics, Sabers head coach Alan Stewart says he would have given his team a “C” in the early part of the season, but he says better play as a team has pushed that grade up by the break.

“Our boys are starting to play more together as a team, working together. They’re working hard on defense, and most of the time running the offense well,” said Stewart. “I’d say we’re getting up to a B-plus or A-minus range right now.”

The Twin Cedars boys basketball team is 4-4 overall.
