Now that the new year has passed, you might be thinking about getting rid of your Christmas Tree. In Knoxville, the Marion County Conservation Board will be offering curb-side pickup of trees on Tuesday, January 3rd at 8am. Trees collected in this pickup will be used for wildlife cover and fisheries habitat in Conservation Board areas. In Pella pickups are scheduled for Wednesdays, January 4th, 11th, and 18th. Trees must be placed on the curb by 7am in Pella. In both cities, trees must have all decorations and items removed before being left on the curb for disposal.
