Pella Dollars For Scholars is holding a consignment event fundraiser. The Formal Wear Consignment Event is being sponsored by Extras Consignment in Pella and will offer people looking to get rid of any kind of formal wear and help Dollars for Scholars in the process. Jim Palmer, President of Pella Dollars for Scholars tells KNIA/KRLS News that the event will offer a opportunity to students looking for prom attire. He says that any type of formal wear can be sold at the event, from prom dresses to dress shoes, and Dollars for Scholars will collect 25% of all sale proceeds. The event will be at the Pella Opera House and will run Friday from noon till 8:00 and Saturday from 8:00 till 4:00.
