Recently rehired Knoxville Baseball Coach Joel Johnson will be inducted in the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Saturday in Cedar Rapids. Johnson spent 25 seasons at Knoxville, where he amassed nearly all of his 525 career wins. Johnson won a state championship in 2002. He also had six state tournament appearances, seven conference titles, and 19 winning seasons. During his time as coach, the program produced 12 all-state players and two players selected in the MLB draft. Johnson was rehired as Knoxville’s Baseball coach in November.
