The Knoxville City Council will vote on approving the Eric Drive Urban Renewal Area during their regular meeting tomorrow evening. If that measure is approved, the Council will be able to vote a on a Tax Increment Finance, or TIF, agreement at a later meeting. Cobblestone Hotel Group is asking for a TIF agreement as they prepare to build a new hotel in Knoxville. The council will also discuss the Sunset Ridge area with Chris Ales from Valley Bank and receive a budget revenue presentation, among other agenda items. The meeting is at 6:15 at City Hall and can be heard live on 1320 KNIA.
