The Knoxville Education Foundation is hosting their annual Chili Cookoff this Friday. The dinner starts at 5:30 at Knoxville High School before the girls/boys basketball double-header against Newton. The dinner is five dollars and includes chili, a ham sandwich, veggies, a roll, and a beverage. Last year marked the most successful chili cookoff ever for the Knoxville Education Foundation. They raised 650 dollars to be put to use in supporting the Knoxville School District. Last year, ten local chefs submitted their chili. The Meyer Boys were selected as the winners of the Golden Ladle.
