No one was injured this morning as the Knoxville Rural Fire Department responded to a report of a brush fire. The Knoxville Rural Fire Department received the call at about 3:30 this morning. The fire was located behind a property about a mile north of T-15 on S-71. Knoxville Rural Fire Chief Kenny Thompson tells KNIA/KRLS News that the property owners left some debris burning overnight, and it ended up catching into tall grass near the pile and burning about three acres. Thompson says fire crews were able to deal with the fire quickly and easily.
