The debate over allowing hunters to use lead bird shot for dove hunting in Iowa has been a contentious issue. KNIA/KRLS’s Evan Little sat down with Marion County DNR Conservation Officer Eric Hoffman to talk about the pros and cons of lead ammunition, and what hunters can do when using alternative ammo. They also talked about the ongoing antler less deer hunting season in the state.
