Pella Christian remains the lone Marion County-area girls basketball team in the latest rankings, released this past week by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The Lady Eagles make a small move up to No. 10 this week, after slipping to No. 11 the previous week. The top six teams in Class 2A have not changed since last week, with OA-BCIG continuing to hold the top spot.

Also worth noting are two nearby Class 1A girls teams that are ranked in the top five. North Mahaska holds on to its No. 1 ranking again this week, while rival Lynnville-Sully is close behind at the No. 5 spot. The Warhawks defeated the Hawks 48-44 in New Sharon this past Tuesday.
