The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and several Knoxville organizations have teamed up to put on a non-profit volunteer night. The public is invited to Peace Tree Brewing Company from 5-8pm tomorrow evening to learn more about volunteer opportunities that are available at a variety of organizations. Chamber Director Larissa Van Donselaar says the goal is to broaden and strengthen the volunteer base of local organizations. Many are especially looking for younger volunteers to keep their organizations vibrant. She says this is a fun, casual way to learn more about what’s available.
