Norwalk’s post players dominated the inside and used a 20-0 run in the first and second quarters to pull away from Knoxville early and win 59-38 last night. Knoxville held the lead at five/two but the Warriors scored 20 straight points to make the score 22-5 before Knoxville would score again. While it was tough to play Norwalk in the post, Knoxville Coach Jeff Larson said the most disappointing thing about the loss was his team’s intensity was not at the level that Norwalk was. Bryant McWilliams and Erik Ryan led Knoxville with seven points each. The Panthers are 1-10 on the season and 0-6 in the conference. The boys will join the girls in Carlisle this afternoon with a 5:30 tip-off.
