A strong offensive effort in the first half led the Pella Christian girls to their fifth straight win on Saturday, as the Lady Eagles picked up a 56-46 road win over Eddyville-Blakesburg. Pella Christian ran out to a 42-25 halftime advantage, allowing them to coast to victory.
Four Lady Eagles scored in double figures in a very balanced offensive showing – led by Jasmin Schelhaas’s 13 points. The win moves the Pella Christian girls to 14-2 overall on the season. They’ll travel to Newton on Tuesday to resume Little Hawkeye Conference play.
