The PCM basketball teams are on the back stretch of several road games in the early 2012 portion of the schedule, as they head to Jefferson-Scranton tonight for Heart of Iowa Conference play.

The PCM girls edged the Rams by five points in their earlier meeting this season in Monroe, and enter the game with an 8-4 overall record and a 6-4 mark in conference play. Jefferson-Scranton is 9-4.

In the boys’ contest, the Mustangs seem to be building momentum and have won six straight following Saturday’s win at Pella High. The PCM boys are 10-2 overall and 8-1 in league play. They defeated the Rams 52-40 on December 2nd.

Tip-off from Jefferson-Scranton High School is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tonight; starting with the girls’ game.
