Pleasantville heads to Truro tonight to face Interstate-35 for the second time this season. Both teams are coming off of runaway wins on Friday over Lenox. The Trojan girls fell to the Roadrunners by seven points on December 13th, and will be assigned the task of slowing down one of the top scorers in the state in I-35’s Olivia Sulentic.

“She’s a heck of a ballplayer. She jumps well, she moves well, she shoots the ball well, [and] is very disciplined and very good. She’s one of the top four or five scorers in the state of Iowa,” said Pleasantville girls’ head coach Trevor Miller. “We’ll look at shutting her down as a key. We did a good job the first time we played them. They had some other girls that stepped up and made some shots against us the first time in a back-and-forth game. They just hit a couple of late threes that got us, but it wasn’t their key player that did it. They’re going to have to have their role players step up again because we’ll key on Olivia.”

The Pleasantville boys, meanwhile, will try and extend a four-game win streak against a Roadrunners team they beat by 19 points in the first meeting and has been up and down lately. You can hear both Pleasantville games live tonight on kniakrls.com; with Colin McDonnell providing the call, starting at 6:15 p.m.
