Both of our local girls Bluegrass Conference teams advanced to the second round in their league tournament, as the Melcher-Dallas girls edged Moravia 40-35 and Twin Cedars thumped Lamoni for a second time in a row; 64-39. The next round of the Bluegrass Conference Girls Basketball Tournament will be on Friday night, when Melcher-Dallas faces Moulton-Udell and Twin Cedars takes on Murray. Both games are being hosted by Moulton-Udell.
