The Pella High boys basketball team exploded for a 27-6 run in the second quarter and held their distance from their to claim a 67-52 win last night at home against Oskaloosa. 

Jace Ver Steeg was a key contributor in the deciding second period for the Little Dutch, and finished with 21 points and 8 rebounds.  Brannon Johnson also came out with a big night for Pella, finishing with 11 points.  Oskaloosa was led by Nathan Veldhuizen’s 12 points. 

The win gives the Pella boys a 4-0 record in the Little Hawkeye Conference and moves them to 4-2 overall entering Saturday’s non-conference showdown with nearby PCM.
