After representing her country last summer during the World Cup of Softball and helping team U-S-A to a gold medal in the Pan Am games this past fall, Pleasantville native and University of Missouri Pitching Ace Chelsea Thomas has been picked for another slot on Team U-S-A. Thomas served as the team’s primarily reliever and threw 41 1/3 innings which tied for second-most on the team. She posted a 4-2 record and struck out 60 batters, the second highest amongst Team USA’s pitchers. Thomas is in her junior season at Missouri.
