37-year-old Jason Vinsick pleaded not guilty in Marion County District Court Friday to multiple charges, including two counts of neglect of a dependent. Vinsick was arrested last month after he allegedly struck a car with his vehicle on the corner of Fifth and Main Streets in Knoxville. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News that following the accident, Vinsick failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content over that of the legal limit. Vinsick had two children under the age of 14 in his vehicle at that time. Those felony charges each carry a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.
