Scoring 106 points and finishing 8th out of 12 varsity teams at last Saturday’s PCM Invitational marked another important step forward in the growth of the Pella wrestling team. The Little Dutch have found ways to better themselves each time they’ve hit the mat, something head coach Joe Burch says has been fun for him to watch.

Burch credits the development and maturity of some of his freshman and sophomore wrestlers for not only helping his team in competitions, but also for pushing the upperclassmen in practice. The Pella wrestling team has been off for the whole week, but will be wrestling in another tournament this Saturday for the Centerville Invitational.
