Knoxville will send three wrestlers to the state meet next week as the Panthers had to earn it the hard way…by coming through the wrestle-backs. Jay Fresh at 113 pounds, Lane Colwell at 145 pounds, and Tyler Chatterton at 152 pounds all qualified as runners-up. Knoxville finished fourth as a team with 140.5 points while Pella placed eighth with 33 points and did not qualify any wrestlers to state. The State Wrestling Meet begins Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
