The first of a pair of Iowa Conference road trips for the Central College basketball teams is tonight, as the Dutch travel to Dubuque to face Loras College.

The Central women are 5-16 overall and still seeking their first win in the Iowa Conference. They’ll face a Duhawks squad that is 14-8 overall and 9-4 in the league race and beat the Dutch 56-45 on January 11th.

The men’s game features a good opportunity for the Dutch to notch a second straight conference win, following Saturday’s win over Cornell College – which snapped a six-game conference losing streak. The Central men are 14-7 overall and 6-6 in the Iowa Conference, while Loras is 5-17 overall and 2-11 in league play. The Dutch defeated the Duhawks 81-73 in Pella in the team’s previous meeting.

Tip-off from Loras College is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tonight.
