Central College’s basketball teams will try and end respective conference losing skids this afternoon in Pella, when they host Cornell College on the hardwood. The Central women were edged 77-72 in overtime when they faced the Rams in Mount Vernon, and are hoping today’s meeting in Kuyper Gymnasium can help them notch their first Iowa Conference victory in twelve tries. In the men’s game, the Dutch are coming off of a complete dismantling of Faith College on Tuesday, but have not defeated a league opponent since January 11th.
