A significant roadblock stands in the way of the PCM girls advancing in the postseason, as the Mustangs will face Heart of Iowa Conference foe Gilbert for the third time this season. The Tigers are an impressive 20-2 overall and won both match-ups with PCM, most recently a 35-21 win on January 31st. Mustangs’ head coach Bret Grier says, more than anything, this game is about the right mental approach for his team.

“I think the biggest thing will be confidence,” said Grier. “Just playing with confidence, letting each other know that we can do it.”

The PCM girls are 13-9 overall. Tonight’s game in Gilbert will be streamed live at with Derek Cardwell and Mark Amadeo providing the play-by-play, starting at 6:45 p.m.
