[simage=7055,200,y,left] Iowa Democratic Party Chair Sue Dvorsky says that protecting the majority in the Iowa Senate is the number one goal of state Democrats in this fall’s election cycle. She spoke at a meeting of the Marion County Democrats Central Committee in Knoxville last night. Dvorsky says that majority has made a huge difference, and Democrats are recharged after winning the special election last fall in District 18. Dvorsky notes that not having a state-wide Senate or Gubernatorial election this year changes strategy. Resources will be a little thinner, so she says Democrats must be efficient and smart.
