Pella Regional Health Center has been rewarded for meeting Accountable Care Act goals. Pella Regional has risen to government quality and efficiency standards for dialysis clinics. As part of the Pay for Performance guidelines nearly 54% of hospitals are being penalized for failing to meet government regulations, and will lose ½-2% of their Medicaid/Medicare funding rates. Pella Regional will continue to receive the full funding rate without penalty because of their quality performance.
