[simage=7089,max,n,center,]The Pella City Council met in closed session this week after their regularly scheduled meeting. According to Pella City Administrator Mike Nardini, the City accepted a counter offer from Howard Van Zante on 3 acres of land for $40,000 dollars. The purchase is in relation to the Wastewater Equalization Basin project that has been mandated by the Iowa DNR. This land acquisition will allow the city to build a road directly to the basin.
