The Marion County Board of Supervisors will discuss long term fire alarm solutions in County buildings with a Racom representative during their regular meeting today. The Supervisors have discussed at a previous meeting the cost and benefits of installing a system in buildings that lets authorities know over the scanner if it senses a fire. Currently, that system is only in place at the Courthouse. Such a system could help prevent fires from becoming large if no one is in the building. They will also name a number of Memorial Hall representatives. The meeting is at 8:30 at the Courthouse this morning.
