Business leaders and Iowa legislators will be meeting in Pella tomorrow. Karen Eischen, Director of the Pella Chamber of Commerce tells KNIA/KRLS that the annual event has been going for three years and allows legislators from both parties to speak directly with many Iowa businesses what they can do to help them grow. The summit is tomorrow at the Vermeer Global Pavilion and will run from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Afterward the Pella Chamber of Commerce and Knoxville Chamber of Commerce are hosting events with local legislators. Representative Jim Van Englinhoven and Senator Paul McKinley will be at Monarchs Resteraunt from 2:30 to 3:30 for a Q&A session open to the public. Then the two will be in Knoxville at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce conference room from 4-5pm for another Q&A session.
