A pair of gut-wrenching sixth inning rallies by Luther College sabotaged what otherwise appeared to a be a promising Iowa Conference opener for the Central College softball team, as the No. 5 Norse stole away a pair of wins, 4-2 and 5-4 over the No. 7-ranked Dutch on Saturday. More to come…

Friday night’s track meet in Winterset may have been called the “Husky Relays”, but it belonged to the Dutch and Panthers, and Pella High and Knoxville dominated the competition, placing first and second in the team standings.
