Practice makes perfect in any sports, and that goes without saying in golf as well. The Knoxville Girls Golf Program not only get their time in on local golf courses including their home course Pine Knolls, the girls also spend time away from the links learning the rules of the game. Coach Kyle Kincaid says during the preseason the girls spend almost as much time learning and reviewing the rules as they do taking their practice rounds. Kincaid adds he will take the girls around the course to explain the hazards and what to do when they encounter them. Knoxville will open up its season April ninth with a quad at Oskaloosa.
