After putting in plenty of hard work in the early season, the Pella High boys track and field squad finally gets to show what they can do against competition today, as the Little Dutch are in the field at the Husky Relays in Winterset. Pella High head coach Brent VanHauen says the first meet of the season helps get rid of some of the jitters for newer runners and provides his athletes with their first measuring stick of the season. Conference rival Knoxville is also in the field at the meet, which begins at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon in Winterset.
