Knoxville Mayor Don Zoutte invites those interested in reopening the movie theatre to a meeting at the theatre this afternoon. Zoutte says that it’ll be an organizational meeting and there will be discussions about possible investment options for community members who are interested. He tells KNIA/KRLS News that they received good news from a contractor on the condition of the roof, making some options much more viable.

The meeting will be at 5pm in the movie theatre. The general public is invited to attend.
