The Pella Area Development Corporation is headed to Washington D.C. Tuesday. Pella Chamber of Commerce Director Karen Eischen tells KNIA/KRLS News that the annual trips allow Pella to represent its interests at a national level. She says that the regional airport and a possible connection to I-80 for the region are the primary issues for the group, and that meeting with legislators in Washington will allow them to give an update to the legislators, and receive direction on the best way to make the improvements happen.
