The Pella High boys track and field team provided a glimpse of what they hope will be a strong season in the Little Hawkeye Conference, performing very well in Friday night’s league indoor meet.  

The Little Dutch claimed gold in the shuttle hurdle and both medley relays, while Wade Pingel and Chris Brogen added first place finishes in the 800 and 60 meters, respectively.  As a team, the Pella High boys claimed first or second place in every running event but 400 meters.  

They’ll open the outdoor season on March 30th at Winterset.
