It’s been a bit of an off-and-on week for the Pleasantville boys golf team, who officially started practices the prior week during a stretch of unseasonably warm and sunny weather.

“This week was our Spring Break [at school], so I told the guys if it was nice out to go out and play; if it wasn’t, we’d start really getting after it on Monday the 26th,” said Trojans’ head coach Trevor Miller. “This week’s kind of been hit or miss. I’ve seen a few of them; [and] I have some others who went on vacation with their families and did things like that, which is why I kind of just let it go until the Monday after spring break and really get going then.”

Miller says he’s got about a dozen golfers out this season on the boys’ side, which he says is a good number to work with. Pleasantville will open the 2012 golf season on April 5th with a home dual against Grandview Park Baptist.
