The Knoxville boys track and field team placed fifth in a field of much larger schools last night in Indianola. The Panthers got a win from Derek Seddon in the discus and second place in the shot put, and the 4×200 meter relay team was runner-up. Knoxville’s coach, Mike Cunningham II, said the effort was good for the first time in an outdoor setting. The Panthers will be in action on Friday in the Husky Relays in Winterset.
