The boys track and field team at Melcher-Dallas opened their outdoor season Thursday night with a meet at Pekin. Facing a number of larger squads, the Saints scored 34 points to earn 8th place out of the 12 teams in competition.

Leading the way for PCM was Cody Alexander, who earned a silver medal in the 800 Meter Run and also took 6th in the 400 Meter Dash. Melcher-Dallas also got a 4th place finish from Ross Dawson in the Discus and the team’s 4×800 Meter Relay.
