A bird banding workshop is being presented at the Lake Red Rock visitors center today. Bird Banding involves trapping birds in nets, then gently applying a band to them so their movements can be tracked if they are found again. Depending on the number of birds caught, participants will get the chance to release the birds after the bands have been secured. Participants can attend the workshop from 7 until 10 today.
