Boone Proves to be a Tall Order for Pella Girls Tennis in Season Debut

Facing traditional powerhouse Boone, it was a less than pleasant start to the season for the Pella High girls tennis team Monday evening, as they fell 10-1 at home against the Toreadors. Pella’s lone win of the meet came at No. 3 doubles, where the tandem of Joella Gerber and Julia Stucky came back from a 1-6 loss in the first set to close out the match 6-3 and 10-5. The Lady Dutch try and rebound today with a meet at Norwalk.
