The Central College men’s and women’s track and field squads are ranked 15th and 22nd respectively in the fifth week of power rankings produced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The latest release marks the first set of rankings that rely solely on 2012 performances. Previous rankings were a combination of a squad’s best marks from the current season as well as 2011 performances. McMurray still holds the top spot in the men’s rankings while Iowa Conference foe Wartburg retained the No. 1 ranking for the women.
