The Vermeer Windmill will host a traditional Dutch Baking Competition. The theme this year is anything almond. Bonnie Verberg, Windmill Director, says the baked goods should be Dutch, but that anything can be made Dutch if you try hard enough, so there is flexibility. A group of local celebrities will judge the entries. KNIA/KRLS’s Brad Gaspelin will be joining those judges at 6:30 on Monday in the Sterrenberg Library at Pella’s Historical Village. Entries will need to be brought to the library from 5:15 to 6:15 on Monday.
