Experience Works held a job fair in Knoxville last week in an attempt to help out adults who are 55 and older get the proper training to reenter the work force. Regional Manager Ruth Bolinger tells KNIA/KRLS News that they had a few people stop by at their table at the Knoxville Recreation Center to discuss job skills and training. Bolinger says that the recession hit older adults particularly hard. Their goal is to help them develop job skills such as computer literacy so they can find at-least part time employment. She says many adults will otherwise start drawing from social security earlier than necessary, putting them in a financial disadvantage.

Bolinger says that they are still looking for more applicants to help. To see if you qualify, you can call Bolinger at 641-782-2100.
