The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad fell to Carlisle in the season opener last night 1-0. The Panthers had their chances to tie the match in the second half but could not punch the ball in. Coach Charley Fisher said the key was the forwards struggling in the first half to get the ball to the outside. However he said in the second half that area of the game was much better. Goal keeper Amber Klootwyk had 11 saves as Knoxville falls to 0-1 on the season. The Panthers head to the Boone Invitational on Saturday.
