The girls golf team from Knoxville took second place in Tuesday night’s meet in Pella, while host Pella Christian finished in third. Newton shot a combined 205 at the Pella Golf and Country Club to take first place, while the Panthers finished 17 strokes back at 222 and the Lady Eagles carded a 232. Cori Uitermarkt of Pella Christian shot a 51 to tie for runner-up, while Lexi Owen had the low round for Knoxville with a 53.
