A first-place finish in No. 3 singles by Zoe Vermeer highlighted an improved outing for the Pella High girls tennis team on Saturday. The Lady Dutch claimed third place at the Indianola Invitational; playing in their third meet of the week. Other strong performances for Pella included a second-place finish for Morgan Ernst in No. 2 singles, and the tandem of Caitlyn Van Weelden and Tiffany Carter earned runner-up honors in No. 3 doubles.
