Monroe Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Abuse

As previously reported by KNIA/KRLS, a Monroe man has been charged with two counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse in Marion County. According to court documents, 31-year-old Joshua Pearson allegedly had sexual contact, including intercourse with a 15 year old in Pella twice in the summer of 2011. Pearson plead guilty to the charges Tuesday morning. He will be sentenced to a prison term not to exceed ten years for both of the two charges.
