An offense that scorched Perry for 11 goals Monday night remained blistering hot for the Pella High boys soccer team, as they rolled Grinnell 9-0 Tuesday night. Three goals in the first 17 minutes of the game quickly set the tone, and the Little Dutch sailed to a 5-0 lead at intermission.

Despite a little extra fatigue from the unusually warm temperatures, Pella maintained their intensity in the second half, rotating the entire team onto the field and closing out the match. The Little Dutch improved to 7-2-1 with the victory and are 3-0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Saturday they’ll host four additional teams for the Tulip Tournament.
