Early morning rain and the threat of more showers put a damper on the 47th Annual Panther Relays Saturday. Officials decided to call off the meet at around eight Saturday morning. It was shaping up to be one of the more competitive meets in recent years with Knoxville, Pella, and Grinnell was some of the favorites to win the boys race, and the girls meet was to be a three or four team battle for the winner’s trophy. Knoxville Athletic Director Randy Wilson was unsure whether the meet would be rescheduled. Listen to KNIA/KRLS for more updates as they become official.
