Following a strong season-opening victory over PCM this past Thursday, the Pella Christian boys soccer team embarks upon a rugged three-game stretch this week; starting Monday night against North Polk. Eagles’ head coach Josh Visser says he’s keeping the focus this week on his own team and not the opposition.

“We’re just going to play our game. I can’t be going to scout every one of these teams, and looking who their best player is and what they have to offer,” said Visser. “I figure if we just play our game – if we pass the ball around and look for our guys up front that we want to hit – we are going to score some goals and we are going to win some games.”

The JV/Varsity doubleheader with North Polk begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday night at Pella Christian High School.
